Notably, the camera bar has been removed, replaced by a cutout in the top-left corner for the dual cameras expected to be featured on the new model. The placement of the LED flash may have shifted further right based on the leak’s details.
Similar to the Pixel 9a, this back cover is flat, and expectations suggest that the overall frame will also retain a flat design, consistent with the aesthetic of the upcoming Google Pixel 10 series.
The back cover was posted for sale on the Chinese auction website ‘Goofish,’ where it was listed as the ‘Google Pixel 10A engineering back cover’ but has since sold out. Although the quality of the image isn’t optimal, it provides a tantalizing look at what consumers might expect from the new device.
The Google Pixel 10a is anticipated to launch near the end of Q1 next year, following the Pixel 9a’s release in March. As fans await further details, the accuracy of this leak remains uncertain.
In the nearer term, the Google Pixel 10 series is set to be unveiled much sooner, with a launch event scheduled for August 20. This series will include the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which many have been eagerly anticipating.
