The latest update to Gemini’s color branding is being introduced on Android, featuring a refreshed glow animation for the system-wide overlay. Google has shifted from the previous blue-purple glow to a vibrant gradient of red, yellow, green, and blue, with blue emerging as the primary hue for a brighter interface.

Additionally, the ring surrounding the voice input microphone has also been changed to a light blue shade. However, these new overlay colors have not yet been rolled out widely; devices examined did not show the updates. The revamped blue greeting remains restricted to the Google app beta on Android as well.

Recently, Google has successfully rolled out the new Gemini icon for Android and iOS home screens, although the changes have yet to appear on the web.

This update aligns with Gemini’s advertising strategy, particularly from various third-party phone manufacturers, which have long featured the four colors to highlight the Google connection. Promotional images consistently refer to the service as ‘Google Gemini.’
