A recent survey conducted by SlashGear gathered opinions from 606 people across the United States regarding Aston Martin vehicles. Participants highlighted four models they viewed as the brand’s least impressive offerings throughout its history.
In fourth place, securing 16.38% of the votes, is the Aston Martin DBX, the brand’s first foray into the SUV market. Despite being a powerful vehicle capable of producing 697 horsepower and reaching a top speed of 193 miles per hour, many critics feel the DBX reflects Aston Martin’s attempt to join the growing segment of supercar manufacturers releasing SUVs, following the trend set by models like the Lamborghini Urus and the Ferrari Purosangue.
The Aston Martin Virage claimed the third spot with 23.60% of the votes. According to Car and Driver, the 2012 Virage was intended to bridge the gap between the iconic DB9 and the DBS. However, it offered only 20 more horsepower than the DB9, which was priced significantly lower at around $189,230. With a starting MSRP of $212,110, the Virage’s limited enhancements left many questioning its value.Mobiles
