As we prepare for the tournament, attention shifts to DeChambeau’s performance at Maridoe Golf Club, where he has established a home course advantage. He’s been residing in Dallas for a considerable time, frequently playing various local courses. Reflecting on the 2024 Team Championship, he noted, “It’s such a great feeling this week to be playing the LIV Team Championship in front of so many friends and fans and making the short drive from Grapevine to Carrollton. It’s just an awesome fit for me. It really feels like home,” he told the Dallas Morning News.
Living in Grapevine has granted him access to exceptional courses, which proved beneficial last season when he recorded a remarkable 8-under-par 64 during the event—the best round score in the LIV Golf Dallas Team Championship 2024. If DeChambeau can replicate that performance, he may very well outshine his competitors and secure his second victory of the season.LIV Golf
